Under the general direction of the Program Manager SSAII and C-STEMM, the Pipeline Program Assistant will be supporting the Los Angeles Pediatric Society (LAPS), Saturday Science Academy II, Community STEMM Academy (C-STEMM), and other Pipeline Programs. In addition, the Program Assistant will assist with administrative and clerical support to the Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- The Program Assistant performs administrative duties such as : answering phones and emails, filing, and managing schedules, while also supporting SSAII and C-STEMM programs day-to-day operations
- Assist the Pipeline Programs Coordinator with the LAPS program.
- Assist with the implementation and teaching of the curriculum.
- Assist with the preparation of SSAII and C-STEMM weekly supplies
- Attend all field trips, activities, and community events that directly affect SSAII and other pipeline programs
- Plan and implement activities that build morale and increase volunteer commitment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable workspace.
- Assist Program Coordinator in tracking program supplies that are lent to other individuals and departments.
- Collaborate with STEMM Instructors to keep Pipeline storage bin clean and organized.
- Attend, support, and represent Pipeline in efforts to promote SSAII, C-STEMM, LAPS , and other Pipeline Programs.
- Assist with the collection of outcome data for progress reports, quarterly reports, annual reports, and statistics.
- Ensure that all the files are compliant and audit-ready per federal, state, and local requirements
Hourly Rate : $22 - $24 per hour
