Position Overview:
The Project-Based Quality Assurance Associate will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the quality assurance and compliance processes across our agency's programs. This role will involve project management, data collection, audits, and developing initiatives to improve program quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, experience in quality assurance, and a passion for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Monitoring: Conduct regular audits and assessments of programs to ensure compliance with internal and external standards, policies, and regulations.
- Project Management: Lead and support project-based initiatives aimed at improving program quality, efficiency, and outcomes, creating systems that improve quality.
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data from surveys, feedback, and program evaluations to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Staff Training: Develop and deliver training on quality assurance processes, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with program staff, families, caregivers, and external partners to address any concerns and ensure that program goals are being met.
- Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on program performance, quality metrics, and compliance audits to leadership and stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Recommend and help implement corrective actions and process improvements based on findings from audits and feedback.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in quality assurance, project management, or program evaluation.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with the developmental disability field, including relevant laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and the use of project management tools.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities within deadlines.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft applications
- Familiarity with QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.
- Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills as well as a professional business appearance.

- Previous experience in DDS Office of Quality Assurance Licensing and Certification and CARF.
