Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers on the dock with canoe, kayak, and paddleboard gear.
- Offer expert advice on paddling techniques, river safety, and equipment usage.
- Loading and unloading kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards from storage racks and trailers, demonstrating proper handling techniques.
- Awareness of potential hazards on the dock and water, with knowledge of emergency response protocols.
- Additional responsibilities may include minor boat repairs, cleaning, and operating a cash register.
Essential Qualifications:
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to lift 50 pounds, and excellent customer service skills.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and around water.
- Previous experience with watersports is beneficial but not required; multilingual skills are also a plus.
- CPR and First Aid certification is highly valued.
