We are looking for an Laboratory Animal Technician I to join our Insourcing Solutions team located in Poolesville, MD .

What you will do!
In the Laboratory Animal Technician I role, you will maintain, monitor, and document the health, well-being, and physical environment of animals on-site.
You will also be tasked with the following :
- Monitoring daily animal health and welfare while performing daily animal health observations.
- Animal husbandry duties include daily water bottle / automatic water line and cage checks; provide appropriate food and water; environmental enrichment; perform cage changing and / or cage cleaning as required.
- Maintain records related to the animal and facility functions; record animal health concerns and report as needed.
- Assists with restraint, handling, and manipulation of various animal species.
- Receive, inspect, and house incoming animals.
- Other duties will include general housekeeping, in addition to reviewing, comprehending, and complying with all SOPs and quality assurance standards pertaining to specific area.
