We are the only company offering cruises on the historic Charles River with views of both Boston and Cambridge.

Starting with just one boat, the Charles Riverboat Company has grown to a fleet of six vessels carrying over 65,000 passengers per season!
Position Overview: As part of the team at Charles Riverboat Company, you will help assist with our daily organization and management of our Charles River based private events and public cruises. This is an ideal position for an individual who is passionate about hospitality, events, and customer service. Candidate must be professional and comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic environment. Ideal candidate is independent, outgoing, organized, and has strong customer service skills over the phone and in person. This is a seasonal position with a commitment April – October. If the seasonal position is a good fit, there may be the opportunity for full-time employment.
Job Responsibilities:
· Provide exceptional hospitality to guests in person and over the phone
· Assist with daily schedule and responsibilities in the office to ensure seamless transitions
· Assist with vessel and catering set up for private events
· Greet private event guests and ensure they have everything they need prior to departure.
· Work with sales managers to create event setups, catering orders, and timelines
· Coordinate large groups and act as point of contact when manager is not present
· Work in the ticket booth when needed
Job Qualifications:
· Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
· Ability to work at least part-time April through October. Possibility for part time work prior to April.
· Must be extremely comfortable speaking on the phone
· Strong understanding of Microsoft Office, G Suite and Canva
· Outgoing and energetic personality
· Ability to thrive in a fast paced and changing environment
· Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team
· If hired, all employees must pass a drug test as required by the US Coast Guard
· Employees must have the ability to work nights and weekends and attend company training sessions prior to employment.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
