Description:
Operational Resilience (OR) is responsible for Firm-wide governance and oversight of the OR risk. OR coordinates with stakeholders across the lines of defense towards a common goal of enhancing the Firm’s capabilities to prepare, resist, absorb, and recover from or adapt to a disruption that could impact the delivery of services to our clients.
The Director will serve as a people leader within the organization, reporting through the Managing Director of Operational Resilience. In this pivotal role, the leader will be responsible for overseeing the strategic delivery of technology solutions that drive value for the Firm. Additionally, the leader will play a critical role in providing strategic direction for the Technology Risk Management Data Platform, ensuring it aligns with the organization’s goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the team responsible for providing oversight and guidance on key technology projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within established risk tolerances.
- Lead a team that coordinates with TRM discipline leads to identify risks to the successful implementation of technology solutions that create value for the Firm.
- Collaborate with CRM teams to define scope, goals, deliverables and risks of new products and services requiring technology solutions.
- Lead the team responsible for development of an analytical reporting structure for analysis of critical technology projects.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the Technology Risk Management Data Platform, driving efficiency and effectiveness in the data reporting processes.

Requirements:
- Led or managed 1LOD business units such as Operational Services, Advisor Services, Retail and Banking and Trust Services.
- Executes with a sense of urgency, a drive to make an impact, and a high level of self-confidence.
- Demonstrated success in team leadership.
- Experience working with Fusion Risk Management.
- Strong prioritization, project management, planning and time management skills.
- Strong diagnosis, critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, ensure quality, professional work, and maintain high standards.
- Ability to work with all levels within an organization.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Demonstrates considerable knowledge of operational risk management, operational resilience, cyber security, data protection, IT Risk, or IT Audit/Compliance.
- Expert use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience working within a financial services organization.
- Professional certification in (CRISC, CISSP, Series 7 etc.) is a plus.
- Base Compensation: $145,400-$264,600. Your compensation may be different. Talk with your Talent Advisor to learn more. In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or other incentive opportunities.
Experience:
- Education Level Required: 4 Year College Degree (Business, Accounting, Computer Science, Mathematics, Science, Technology, or relevant field).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Risk Management, Technology Risk Management, or operational functions within the financial services industry.
