Your Opportunity
The business strategy team within Schwab’s Client Service & Support organization enables leaders across the service organization to explore & set strategy, prioritize our investments, understand the perspective of our clients, and tell our strategic story along the way. As a Strategy Manager on our team, you will be charged with delivering thoughtful and insightful contributions across a range of high-stakes strategic results for the service organization. You will work across the Retail organization alongside senior leaders and a hardworking team of strategy and industry veterans who are defining the Schwab of the future.

As a Strategy Manager you will:
- Use strategic frameworks and project management techniques to help lead people through uncertainty; balance multiple and potentially conflicting priorities; identify and manage sophisticated dependencies
- Adapt strategy plans as the situations evolve; achieve high performance in ambiguous environments; build order out of uncertainty
- Partner with multiple cross functional work streams – including Operations, Finance, Risk, Legal, Transformation, Technology and Digital
- Support the Director and Sr. Manager for large, sophisticated projects, as well as take full ownership for smaller projects
- Coordinate and lead teams of third-party resources to develop fact-bases, perform analysis and establish new insights
- Execute an integration strategy and delivery plan with a focus on harmonious outcomes
- Synthesize and frame analysis into meaningful recommendations for senior executives; bridge the gaps between granular data and analysis to strategy
What you have
- 3 years of relevant work experience, including 2 years of experience in Strategy, preferably with a best-in-class consulting firm or internal strategy group / Business Operations group within a large organization
- Bachelor’s degree required, Masters preferred
- Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, creativity in problem solving, and attention to detail
- Proven ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience
- Confidence dealing with ambiguity in a dynamic and fast paced work environment
- High Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
