SRPS is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate servicing for 1000 plan sponsor clients and 1.3 million participants. The Document Services team is responsible for providing document and consulting services for plans converting to SRPS and maintaining documents for clients who utilize an SRPS prepared pre-approved plan document.
The position is for a Senior Specialist in our Defined Contribution Compliance and Documentation group. As a Senior Specialist you will support the day-to-day maintenance to Plan related documents, Service Agreements and provide consultative support to clients and business partners. Tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Draft legal documents including Pre-Approved Plan Documents, Plan Synopsis, Summary Plan Descriptions, Letters of Direction, Administrative Policies, Plan and Services Agreement Amendments
- Complete assigned cases in accordance with service level standards
- Participate in project work, as assigned
What you have
- Minimum 5-years’ experience in qualified retirement plan administration
- Exceptional written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills, dependable, efficient and able to work independently
- Demonstrated effectiveness in a team environment
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
- Aptitude to quickly learn a broad range of skills, processes and subject matter
- Creative thinking skills and a mindset of continuous improvement in service delivery
- Maintain a general working knowledge of IRS and ERISA rules applicable to employee retirement plans
- ASPPA Designations preferred but not required
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
