What You’ll Do
The Manager will be responsible for building automation solutions that drive business decision making, business strategy and process improvement as well as, project management and in-depth cost/benefit analysis for multiple project initiatives within Mutual Fund Operations. The individual in this role will be responsible for maintaining project plans, working with vendors to implement the solutions, testing plans, full system integration, and robust implementation plans on to the Schwab platform. This position is an individual contributor role.

- Building deep contextual and domain knowledge

- Systems integration testing coordination
- Vendor management (internal and external)
- Work with Management and MFO Teams to determine project requirements
- Ability to write clear, detailed, and technical business requirements for system enhancements and other initiatives
- Creating and managing project documentation to include project plans and supporting documentation
- Project meeting coordination and execution
- Resource planning
- Project risk identification and mitigation
- Maintain knowledge of decision points and woven timelines surrounding ongoing projects
- Stakeholder communication (internal and external stakeholders / customers)
- Collaborate with management on business strategy and opportunities
- 5 years financial services experience
- Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to learn new things
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Passion for delivering business insights and analytics
- Strong excel skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Experience with SQL, writing queries to extract data is not required, but an ability to be a quick learner and gain proficiency is required for a successful candidate Experience gathering and documenting requirements
- Experience creating and managing project documentation
- Well-organized with good time management skills
- Self-starter and proven ability to work independently with little supervision
- Team player with an ability to work across all levels of an organization
