What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Manager, Field Enablement position at Charles Schwab?
Your opportunity
At Schwab, you’re empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us “challenge the status quo” and transform the finance industry together.
Schwab Charitable’s mission is to increase giving in the U.S. with donor-advised funds (DAF) and philanthropic tools and resources that make charitable giving tax-smart, simple, and efficient. We offer tools, guidance, and relationships that empower donors to incorporate charitable planning into their everyday lives and make a bigger difference in the world. Since our founding in 1999 as an independent 501(c)(3) public charity, Schwab Charitable donors have granted more than $33 billion to more than 246,000 charities. Visit SchwabCharitable.org for more information.
At Schwab Charitable, we believe people have an inherent desire to give and that investing and giving when done together can empower us to make a real difference in the world. We make it easy to integrate charitable giving into clients’ financial planning and wealth management conversations. We believe that if our clients apply the same thoughtful strategy to their giving and philanthropy that they apply to their finances and investments, they will be happier and more fulfilled donors. With our uniquely integrated approach, our simple and tax-smart giving solution, our access to online resources and our team of charitable specialists, we offer the tools, guidance, and relationships to help donors give more to the charities that matter most to them.
Schwab Charitable was founded by Charles Schwab & Co. and while it operates as an independent charity, it is closely affiliated with and enjoys the support of Charles Schwab & Co, including contractual agreements to provide a variety of services. This position will be an employee of Charles Schwab & Co. and will be subject to its human resources and risk policies and procedures but will report to and be accountable to Schwab Charitable for day-to-day activities.
We are seeking a Senior Manager of Field Enablement to join the new and growing Activation and Partnerships team. This role will drive the execution of our vision and strategy to educate and activate Registered Investment Advisors, Branches, Donors, Non-profits and Internal Business Partners on charitable giving vehicles and strategies.
This position will support and closely collaborate with Charitable Consulting, Business Development, Marketing Communications, and Strategic Partnerships to drive the field enablement roadmap that will deliver growth, engagement, and measurable impact.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable leveraging insights to curate, package and activate existing content for donor, advisor, partner, and prospect education. You will act as a SME working in close collaboration with Schwab Charitable’s Marketing team to inform development of new content and nurture and prospect campaigns that accelerate the prospect funnel and create deeper client engagement with the Schwab Charitable platform. Through your close collaborative partnership with the entire Growth team, you will put best practices into action, support internal education and knowledge management initiatives, and execute through tools like Salesforce and Marketo.
