The Senior Manager – Relationship Management for Schwab Advisor Network® sits within the Wealth Offers, Operations and Strategy organization in the Wealth & Advice Solutions (WAS) enterprise. Schwab’s WAS enterprise offers industry-leading wealth management services to both retail and registered investment advisor (RIA) clients. WAS is responsible for Schwab’s wealth management strategy, while delivering industry-leading experiences, through solutions like Schwab Wealth Advisory™ (SWA) and Schwab Advisor Network® (SAN), along with a broad range of investment products and solutions.
The SAN team is responsible for end-to-end strategy, management, and operations of the SAN offer. This Senior Manager role is an individual contributor role with a diverse set of critical responsibilities. Reporting to the Director/Offer Manager for SAN, this person will work with key partners in both Investor Services and Advisor Services, and develop and implement key business initiatives that support growth within the SAN offer, branch and advisor experiences.

Responsibilities
The qualified candidate will be responsible for the offer relationship management of SAN which includes identifying opportunities to improve or streamline the client, branch and advisor experience while interacting with these constituents and building strong relationships. In this client and field-facing role, job functions can vary but will center around the offer relationship management of SAN:
- Gain deep client and field insights through relationship building, and identify and define business strategies and opportunities to improve the offer experience with an eye towards service, simplicity and scale
- Produce business cases, analysis, presentations and recommendations for senior executives to support actionable direction and business prioritization to drive improvements to the delivery and quality of the offer for all parties
- Take full end-to-end ownership, from planning to execution, for large, complex projects
- Develop and maintain a perspective on implications of key developments in the external environment, industry trends, and competitor actions
- Evaluate and manage offer effectiveness through ongoing field interactions and relationships
- Lead or support near-term and long-term strategy initiatives to evolve and grow the offer. This includes working across a wide range of stakeholders to set a target state vision, design core experiences, define requirements and prioritize business needs.
- Develop a deep understanding of the RIA environment and retail client needs to develop a client journey and deliver long-term business effectiveness
- Provide critical subject matter expertise to business partners to inform how SAN is accessed, best leveraged, and integrated across the retail channel
- Assess specific opportunities regarding new potential enhancements, capabilities and utilities and assume ownership as requested by leadership
Required Qualifications
- 7-10 years of relevant experience, financial services or management consulting experience; a sound understanding of the RIA industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or related field
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, ThinkCell, and Adobe PDF
- FINRA Series 7
- Experience working with and knowledge of branches, advisors, and wealth management services, different types of investment products (UMA, ETFs, Mutual Funds, etc.), and/or client-facing advisor experience
