Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned commodities, considering market trends and supplier capabilities.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers (domestic and international).
- Analyze commodity market dynamics (price forecasting, risk assessment).
- Develop understanding of commodity cost drivers.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance against metrics.
- Conduct supplier performance reviews and drive improvement.
- Resolve supplier issues.
- Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities.
- Analyze spend data and identify consolidation opportunities.
- Track and report cost savings.
- Identify and assess commodity supply chain risks.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and report on potential supply disruptions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance).
- Communicate commodity market trends.
- Act as point of contact for commodity inquiries.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret commodity market and supplier data.

Qualifications:
