Charles Taylor Safety Solutions is seeking a Safety Manager in McLean, VA

Project details:
- 40 hours/week. The schedule will fluctuate between day and evening work depending on lane closures;
- 7 to 3:30; 7pm-4:00am
- 15-months; start on-site 3/18
- Overseeing Roadway repair work on-site with our client; infrastructure repair, rigging, crane operations, and aerial lift oversight for this project.
- BCSP certifications are preferred. OSHA-510 required.
- At least 5-7 years Safety Management overseeing large commercial construction projects. Experience overseeing Civil construction is preferred.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conducting project safety inspections and orientations.
- Safety training as requested/required.
- Observation and monitoring of worksite employees and safety practices.
- Complete document reviews, contractor correspondence, and document management.
- Other tasks and activities within the realm of the EHS profession within the manager's skills, abilities, certifications, and authorizations
- Communicating safety standards between trades, GC and sub-contractors
