The quality control specialist is responsible for assuring integrity of account/customer information in Core Processing System. The quality control specialist will obtain financial data for use in reviewing and maintaining operations procedures as determined by Bank's management, regulatory agencies ensuring compliance and consistency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain knowledge of rules/regulations associated with Banking and understanding of compliance related to Banking.
- Monitor monthly interest rates for exceptions.
- Review all ATM/ Debit Card maintenance reports.
- Review and maintain super stop activities.
- Review dormant accounts.
- Review maintenance reports.
- Review new accounts as well as account maintenance submitted by other business units.
- Review quality control SOPs annually and update accordingly.
- Verify CD notices and changes.
- Verify Deposit Transfer Management setups.
- Verify interest rate changes.
- Verify PDO setups.
- Verify processing product type changes.
SECONDARY DUTIES
- Acts as backup to IRA/Operations Department.
- Assists as needed in departmental requests.

Requirements:QUALIFICATIONS

- Must be able to work independently and perform a wide range of responsibilities.

- Proficiency in the MS Office suite is required for use in primary functions.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work with customers/individuals at all levels within/outside the organization.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge of electronic channels and ability to assist customers with technology.
- Extensive product and documentation knowledge of the bank’s various consumer products and services.
- PC experience and understanding of Word and Excel programs.
- Strong verbal/written communication and organizational skills.
- High School Diploma or GED required. College degree and 1-2 years previous experience preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence using Word or word processor program. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
