This job is a great opportunity for students and graduates in the Charleston area who have previous work experience from summer jobs and internships or anyone who enjoys customer-facing work in the food & bev industry.

In this position, we are hiring Concessions Sales Staff for our stationary food & bev trailer.

Who are we looking for?

• You are a friendly, motivated and reliable people person.
• You are a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision. You have attention to detail while promoting a fun work atmosphere.
• You are a team player.
• You enjoy interaction with customers and do your best to serve them with a smile.
• You are punctual & show a good work ethic.
• You like numbers and are at ease with operating a cash register and computers. We operate with cloud based systems.
• You have a good understanding of workflows, should be able to follow processes, and deal with hiccups as they happen.
• You are an excellent organizer and see cleanliness as part of your job duty.
• You remain calm in stressful situations (e.g. long line)
• You are physically fit – able to bend, twist & turn with flexibility as you will be working outdoors on and around water and in varying weather conditions.
• In a nutshell: The right applicant will be honest, hard-working and have experience in a customer facing or food & bev role. You will be part of a team consisting of operational staff running the activities and the park as well as the general team members supporting the specific areas of the Park (Aqua Park, Floating Ropes Course, Wakeboard/Boogie Board Cable, Events).

What are your job tasks?

• As a Concessions Sales Staff member, you are in charge of selling alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages, snow cones, and snacks out of our stationary food trailer
• You take care of the opening and closing procedures of the food trailer and ensure that daily, weekly and monthly checklists are completed
• You re-order inventory as needed and refill beverages, sirups and snacks
• You are in charge of the overall cleanliness of the food trailer and all snow cone equipment. You also clean up around the food trailer (incl. trash)
• You help with preparation of summer camp lunches and events

Nice to have: South Carolina Serving Alcohol Certification (can be acquired/renewed as part of job onboarding)

Must have: Work experience at a customer facing position. Ability to cope with a busy work environment. Must be 21 as we are selliing alcoholic beverages.
