Job Description:
South Carolina’s highest level professional sports team, Charleston Battery, is changing the game when it comes to live events in the low country in their exciting new era at Patriot’s Point.
We are currently seeking a new member to join our Sales team. This position is responsible for generating leads for the end-to-end ticket sales process and further developing, maintaining, and increasing Season Ticket Sales, Partial Season Ticket Sales, Group Ticket Sales, and our growing inventory of Private Hospitality Spaces including Suites and Party Decks. This role has a strong focus on relationship sales, customer retention, and most importantly requires maximum effort. Our ideal candidate loves to sell and wakes up every day thinking about how they will hit their revenue goals.
Opportunity Type:
Base Salary Commission (uncapped): Competitive and more than you think. I will share compensation with candidates during the first interview.

Responsibilities
- Generating group ticket sales through cold calling, networking, and face-to-face appointments
- Sell all group inventory; tickets and registrations for all Battery events at Patriots Point Stadium.
- Sell all hospitality spaces with the goal of having 100% capacity in all available spaces on match days.
- Sell additional ticketing inventory, including but not limited to: Season Ticket Memberships, Half Season Tickets, Partial Plans, Flex Plans and Premium Hospitality
- Contacting existing qualified leads as well as generating new sales leads
- Develop and maintain good-working relationships with both internal and external clients
- Create and maximize Theme Nights
- Meet and exceed established monthly and annual sales objectives and revenue goals
- Make 35 outbound sales calls on a daily basis
- Identify business opportunities by establishing professional and personal networks, proactively soliciting and following-up on any sales leads and representing Charleston Battery at assigned functions
- Build strong relationships with defined account base through proactive communication, including seat visits, phone calls, emails, and other communication initiatives
- Ensure customer data and profile requirements are accurately and completely detailed for defined accounts in CRM system
- Work closely with Ticket Sales, Box Office, Marketing, Operations, Arena Staff, Game Presentation, PR, and Sponsorship to execute integrated programs
- Work assigned sales, promotional and team events during games and outside normal business hours
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience as a top sales producer, preferably in Sports & Entertainment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Team player with the ability to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a friendly and professional telephone manner
- High comfort level making cold calls
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and to self-motivate
- Flexible and creative problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, and Gmail)
- Working knowledge of Hubspot and Canva (not required)
- Knowledge and passion for sales
- Enthusiastic and outgoing personality
- Preferably possesses a database of qualified group prospects
- Flexibility in working extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
