Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Insulator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to read blueprints and fabricate insulation materials. This role involves working on various construction sites, focusing on HVAC systems, drywall installation, and applying finishes such as stucco and airless paint spraying. The Insulator will be responsible for ensuring that all insulation work meets industry standards for quality and safety.
Duties
- Fabricate insulation materials according to project specifications and blueprints.
- Install insulation in walls, ceilings, and floors to improve energy efficiency and comfort.
- Work with HVAC systems to ensure proper insulation around ducts and piping.
- Apply finishes such as stucco or airless paint spraying as required.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively on the job site.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading is essential for interpreting project plans accurately.
- Experience with drywall installation and finishing techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
