Job Description
Job Title: Junior Roaster
Category: Manufacturing Operations
Level: Entry-Level
Roles & Responsibilities:
The Junior Roaster is responsible for working in-conjunction with the Senior Roaster and Production Manager to ensure the Roasting Operation supports the production schedule to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Responsible for preparing and queuing Green Coffee batches for roasting in sequence with the production schedule requirements.
- Responsible for cleaning and emptying coffee bean chaff from collection bins.
- Responsible for Coffee Bean Roaster maintenance to ensure the Roaster(s) have minimal downtime.
- Responsible for interfacing with the Roaster operating system to ensure product specific roast profiles are selected and executed with a high level of precision.
- Responsible for the labeling and moving the completed (i.e., Roasted) product to the appropriate queuing/stock pull location.

- Safety – zero recordable injuries
- Quality – Zero Re-Runs/Lost Product
- Productivity – Lbs./Hr.
- Production Schedule – On-Time
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

- Coffee Industry: 3 years (Required)
