Delivery Support Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage routes effectively.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck or other delivery vehicles to transport goods.
• Load and unload products, ensuring they are secured properly for transport.
• Follow designated routes and schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
• Communicate with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues as they arise.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.
• Assist with heavy lifting and moving of products as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools is essential.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Experience with forklift operation is desirable but not mandatory.
• Must be able to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Ability to pass background checks as required by company policy.

Pay: $17.95 - $23.91 per hour
