Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Deputy Sheriff, located in Charleston, SC. The Deputy Sheriff will be responsible for maintaining public safety, enforcing laws and ordinances, conducting criminal investigations, and ensuring community engagement. Additional duties include patrolling assigned areas, responding to emergency calls, and participating in community outreach programs.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, and Public Safety
- Experience in Police work and Criminal Investigations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in diverse environments
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in Criminal Justice or related fields is beneficial
