We have immediate openings for highly motivated individuals to work alongside our physicians in our fast-growing ENT and Allergy departments. This role provides hands-on patient care experience, exposure to clinical procedures, and opportunities to develop essential medical skills.
As a Gap Year MA, you’ll play a vital role in supporting physicians, managing in-office processes, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience. If you're eager to learn and thrive in a dynamic medical environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist physicians with patient care, procedures, and triage
- Perform patient check-in / out and schedule testing
- Call in prescriptions and administer tympanometry exams
- Administer allergy shots (if certified) and take vitals
- Manage hospital consultation requests for physicians
- Float between clinical and administrative tasks as needed
- Work with insurance companies to pre-certify tests and procedures
- Handle scanning, record management, and other office duties
