Key Responsibilities
Our Medical Assistants are entrusted with various responsibilities, including:
1. Patient check-in and check-out
2. Clinic opening and closing procedures
3. Triaging patients and assisting physicians with procedures
4. Scheduling testing and pre-certifying procedures with insurance companies
5. Administering allergy shots and taking vital signs
6. Conducting tympanometry exams for ear pressure
7. Managing hospital consultation requests for physicians
8. Floating between front and back office responsibilities as needed
9. Scanning patient records and other information as necessary
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
1. CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or RMA certification
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
3. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
4. Compassion and empathy when interacting with patients and their families
5. Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
