What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tier 1 Support Specialist position at Charleston ENT & Allergy?
Charleston ENT & Allergy is looking for a Tier 1 Support Specialist to join our growing team! Our Support Specialists are valued members of the practice, providing critical hands-on support for end-users at all levels of the organization. This includes everything from responding to service tickets to answering calls and questions from our staff.
CENTA is growing, and with 16 offices and 2 ambulatory surgery centers across Charleston, Dorchester, Columbia, and Beaufort counties, traveling to various sites and performing on-the-spot assessments and troubleshooting comes with the territory. Core duties include overseeing helpdesk tickets, providing hands-on hardware, software, and phone support for IT equipment (laptops, desktops, peripherals, etc.) and NextGen (EHR), ordering and configuring new equipment, onboarding and offboarding user accounts, remote access support, and work closely with the IT Team and NextGen Support Team to implement new technology and workflows.
As a member of CENTA’s support team, you’ll play a vital role behind the scenes, working with users at all levels of the organization to resolve technological issues (as well as the occasional “user error”). Because there is so much interaction with our staff, the successful candidate will genuinely enjoy working with people and be comfortable communicating technical solutions to non-techies.
