Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and secure new commercial landscape maintenance contracts.
- Prospect and engage with key property types, including HOAs, retail centers, office parks, industrial complexes, and multi-family properties.
- Conduct property walk-throughs, take measurements, and gather necessary details for accurate estimates.
- Develop and present professional proposals using provided tools and pricing models.
- Track all sales activities, leads, and progress in Aspire CRM.
- Work closely with Account Managers to ensure seamless hand-off of new clients.
- Represent Charleston Grounds Management at industry events and networking opportunities to build relationships and generate leads.
- Annual Sales Target: Close $1.5M to $2.0M in new maintenance and aquatic contracts.
- Weekly Activity Goals:
- 10–15 new prospect touches
- 4–6 site walk-throughs
- 2–4 proposals submitted
- Reporting: Track and report weekly metrics using Aspire CRM to ensure consistent progress.
- Base Salary: $60,000/year
- Commission: Earn up to 8% of the total value of new contracts sold (first-year value only).
- Example: $1.5M sold = up to $120,000 total compensation
- Example: $2.0M sold = up to $160,000 total compensation
- Compensation Cap: Total pay (base commission) will not exceed 8% of the total contract value sold.
- Commission Payout: Paid on a monthly basis after job costing is approved and the client’s payment is received.

- Experience: 2 years of B2B sales experience (landscaping, construction, or facility services preferred).
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Aspire is a plus), spreadsheets, and email
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently
- Experience creating estimates and performing measurements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Requirements: Valid driver’s license and drug free
