Charleston Grounds Management is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Chemical Technician to join our team! This role offers hands-on training in applying fertilizers and pesticides while also providing the opportunity to learn irrigation systems. What You’ll Do:
- Assist in the application of fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides to turf, trees, and ornamentals.
- Learn to identify pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies in landscapes.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain accurate application records.
- Participate in cross-training for irrigation, including system inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting.
- Operate and maintain chemical application and irrigation equipment.
- Work closely with the team to ensure high-quality service for our clients.
What We’re Looking For:
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Interest in both chemical applications and irrigation.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Previous experience in landscaping, lawn care, or irrigation is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.68 - $18.14 per hour
