Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible for this position, you must have a Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) issued substitute teaching certificate. If you do not already have this certificate, we will guide you through the process. A Substitute Certificate requires 36 semester hours of credit from a regionally accredited college or university. Verification of these hours must be provided with an original transcript to DESE from each institution you have attended. Alternatively, you may be eligible for a Substitute Certificate if you have successfully completed a minimum of twenty (20) clock hours of department-approved substitute teacher training.
