The Charleston RiverDogs are excited to offer a comprehensive range of internships for the 2025 season, providing valuable experience and insight into the operations of a minor league baseball team. Our paid internship program is designed to provide real-world experience and comprehensive training in a vibrant, fast-paced environment, running from approximately March through September, 2025. These positions are designed to immerse interns in the full scope of running a professional sports organization. College credit is preferred, and exceptional interns may be considered for future full-time roles.

Our mission is to deliver a memorable and engaging experience to our diverse fanbase at each of our more than 60 baseball home games as well at various entertainment events at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park in historic Charleston, South Carolina.
Media Relations Internship.
Gain firsthand experience in sports journalism, broadcasting, and game-day media operations.
Qualifications:
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Experience managing website CMS and social media platforms.
• Interest in sports broadcasting and media.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Conducting interviews and writing press releases.
• Preparing game notes and articles for various publications.
• Assisting media staff on game days and managing digital content.
• Supporting in-game promotions and updating social media.
