Suites Supervisor
The Suites Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the staff and operations of the suite area, ensuring all guest relation concerns are handled in the appropriate manner and to promote consistent improvement to game day experience for all guests.
Primary Responsibilities
· Oversee event day operations within an assigned area, acting as a point of contact for suite holders on event/game day
· Coaches and supervises suite servers and runners for assigned sections; observes and documents job performance
· Attend daily meeting upon arrival with Hospitality Manager, ensuring all pre-order paperwork is in order and organized
· Conduct pre-game meeting with suites team, reviewing pertinent event day information and ensuring all staff is present and is following all Uniform and Grooming Guidelines.
· Ensures suite attendants and food runners properly prepare suites for guests; conducts walk-through to check for any food presentation issues and enforce all department and company policies and standards.
· Have a working knowledge of menu items, including presentation, plate ware, condiments and service ware.
· Analyzes and resolves all problems with staff, guests, and the operation with the assistance of Hospitality Manager
· Be knowledgeable of role and responsibilities of all Suites’ positions
· Prior to gates, ensure that all suites meet the RiverDog’s standard.
· Be available to staff and suite holders, ensuring that all issues are handled quickly
· Adhere to all Uniform and Grooming guidelines.
· Performs opening and closing procedures for assigned area.
· Other duties as assigned
Requirements
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Demonstrated leadership and training skills; ability to teach others as well as delegate tasks
· Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate clearly with staff
· Possesses excellent guest service skills
· Responds quickly and effectively to changing trends and circumstances; embraces change and adapts; learns from past mistakes and adjusts accordingly
· Maintain high standards of food service and appearance and have a high level of guest satisfaction awareness
· Must have at least one-year experience in a food & beverage leadership role.
· Must be able to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays
· Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
· Must have the ability to lift, push, pull approximately 25lbs.
· Must be able to stand and walk for long period of times while navigating ramps, stairs and elevators.
· Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and additional job specific safety training
