Adjunct Professor of Clinical Counseling
Description:
Charleston Southern University invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor of Clinical Counseling to teach courses in the Clinical Counseling graduate program. Part-time adjuncts are contracted on a term-by-term based on course/section need and availability. Charleston Southern seeks candidates who are professing Christians, committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship and service.
Responsibilities:
Teaching Clinical Counseling graduate courses in a face-to-face or synchronous, virtual context. Primary duties include preparing for and conducting classes, grading, evaluating, and assessing students’ assignments and tests, maintaining accurate records and demonstrating excellent classroom management. Information will be provided regarding accreditation requirements and assessments in each course as appropriate.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
This position prefers a Doctoral degree in a counseling-related field. The ideal candidate should hold a current counseling license or other clinical practitioner license and have extensive clinical counseling experience. Previous experience teaching at the graduate level is desirable.
