What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Bartender position at Charleston Sports Pub?
We're looking for a server/bartender; someone available during the week and mornings on weekends. Weekdays are pretty interchangeable but AM weekends are a must. Very easygoing staff and clientele so looking for someone to match that energy!
Responsibilities
- Taking charge of your section and ensuring your guests are taken care of
- Working with Hosts to coordinate sections
- Completing side work relevant to your section
- Accurately taking orders and communicating your tables' needs to the kitchen
- Running food to your tables in a timely manner
- Floor presence!
- Responsibly serving bar guests and keeping an entertaining bar
- Mindful pours
- Stocking, cleaning, and keeping the bar ready for the next bartender
- Basic bar opening and closing actions
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is required
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast, is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services.
Schedule*
- Weekdays 9-5, 5-2 AM for bartending, 3:30-12 AM for serving
- Weekends 9-5, 5-2 AM for bartending, 9-5 and 5-12 AM for serving
*might change a bit, depends on events throughout the week and staffing*
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
