POSITION TITLE : DIRECTOR OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Description :
The Director of Project Management is a leadership role within the Charlestowne Hotels marketing team, located in Charleston, South Carolina. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this position is responsible for overseeing and leading the entire project management function within the Marketing Department. This position is instrumental in establishing best practices for all marketing processes and requires a strong leader who can collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement in project execution.
Responsibilities :
- Oversight, project management, and execution of property marketing action plans
- Pro-active communication and management with Marketing Manager, Creative Team, Revenue Manager, General Managers, and vendors to ensure all pertinent information is available to complete project requests
- Manage day-to-day trafficking and workflow for all creative, web and marketing services projects
- Interpret defined strategy from Marketing Manager to create, execute and manage targeted marketing and inbound marketing campaigns focused on building brand awareness, driving credibility and generating leads for clients
- Coordinate scheduling and workflow for jobs utilizing project management software
- Maintain project flow, proactively alerting stakeholders of upcoming project milestones and required deliverables
- Review all job requests and execute, or distribute to the appropriate vendor for completion
- Archive, audit, maintain and organize all creative assets and tools including image databases, asset libraries, servers, department documents, calendars and templates
- Ensure incoming and outgoing materials undergo brand reviews and adhere to brand standards
- Work closely with Marketing Managers on project budgets, schedules, specifications, feedback and approvals
- Assist with photography and videography pre-production and post-production processes including exporting, resizing, and file distribution
- Handle coordination and communication of all external agency, vendor or freelance assignments
- Track, report and analyze works in progress and completed projects
- Lead and mentor the project management team, providing guidance, training, and performance reviews.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets and resource requirements.
- Standardize and optimize project management processes and tools across the Marketing team to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Facilitate regular project meetings, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
- Provide escalated support for critical project issues and ensure the team has the necessary resources and guidance.
