Responsibilities
- Conduct oil changes and fluid checks on vehicles, ensuring proper levels and quality.
- Perform automotive diagnostics to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete maintenance tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with customers about services performed and any additional recommendations.
- Assist in sales of automotive products and services to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Handle heavy lifting as required for vehicle maintenance tasks.
- Keep accurate records of services performed on each vehicle.
Experience
- Previous experience in automotive service or maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose vehicle issues effectively.
- Familiarity with both hand tools and power tools used in automotive repair.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience in sales within an automotive context is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of routine job duties.
