Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service Management: Greet customers promptly and courteously as they enter the service lane. Address customer inquiries and concerns, providing solutions and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Service Coordination: Manage and coordinate the flow of vehicles through the service lane. Ensure that vehicles are inspected and serviced efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and support service advisors and other staff in the lane area. Motivate the team to achieve their performance goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Process Improvement: Implement and monitor service lane processes to improve efficiency, reduce waiting times, and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all service work is completed to the highest standards and that vehicles are returned to customers in excellent condition.
- Report Generation: Prepare and analyze reports on service lane performance, customer feedback, and other metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in automotive technology or management is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in an automotive service environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of automotive repair and maintenance processes. Ability to interpret technical information and provide guidance to team members.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle difficult situations with tact and professionalism.
