Dog Daycare Operations Manager

This is a leadership position that handles all aspects of operating and managing a Pet Care facility, under the direction of corporate initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team, training employees and managing the daily operation of a business.

This position works between 40-45 hours per week, with OT and Holidays required if not filled by team members. Must be able to cover all shifts to fill in for employee absences. M-F 6am-6:15pm and/or weekend split shifts 7am-11:30am / 3:30pm-5:15pm.

All training provided, including understanding dog behavior and pack management skills.

Responsibilities include, not limited to:

Operations Management:

• Coordinate operations and oversee daily routines
• Maintain cleanliness in facility and all customer areas
• Ensure all employees follow security and safety protocols
• Maintain supply & repair needs list, prioritize.

Employee management

• Provide leadership and direction to a team of 8-12 employees
• Staff scheduling and tracking
• Employee development and productivity
• Maintain quality of work, coach employees
• All aspects of recruiting, onboarding and termination.

Customer Management:

• Manage reservation/point of sale system, Client Invoices
• Pet Parent satisfaction
• Train employees with customer service delivery
• Manage Marketing email campaigns monthly

Qualifications

• Previous Management and Customer Service experience.
• Strong administrative skills, including office applications and social media marketing.
• Demonstrated ability to lead with a hands-on approach.
• Comfort working with budgets, payroll and employee management.
• Strong communications skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
