JOB SUMMARY
Support the Business Intelligence (B.I.) leadership & staff in ensuring the successful delivery of all projects within a technology portfolio which supports the evaluation, implementation, and utilization of data integration techniques, business intelligence and analytical reporting platforms, processes, and tools. Conduct comprehensive analysis, strategic and operational planning, development, and coordination for the operations of Analytics Business Intelligence platforms.

Conduct comprehensive analysis, strategic and operational planning, development, and coordination for the operations of Analytics Business Intelligence platforms.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Assist the B.I. Analyst in establishing and documenting standards for consistent information presentation across dashboards.
- Collaborates with the B.I. Analyst to establish reliable data sources for dashboard development.
- Works with the I.T. Business Analysts to support employees in developing engaging and meaningful dashboards across all functional areas that answer common questions and tell valuable data stories.
- Provides group and individualized educational opportunities to better understand, interpret, and interact with published dashboards.
- Support efforts to ensure data quality and integrity by investigating unusual data trends and informing data stewards of inaccuracies.
- Assists the Business Intelligence Administrator in the maintenance of the B.I. Environment
- Assists the Business Intelligence Administrator in the creation, maintenance and troubleshooting of integration jobs.
- Provides exceptional customer assistance, problem-solving, and/or complaint resolution by all forms of communication.
Education and Experience:
An equivalent combination of relevant training, education, and experience:
- Associate’s Degree
- Preferred:
- Computer Sciences
- Information Technology
- Business Administration
- Preferred:
- Two (2) years of experience in Information Technology
Special Qualifications: N/A
- Knowledge of MS SQL.
- Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., PowerBI, Power Pivot).
- Knowledge of data-modeling, data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
- Knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Intermediate or advanced knowledge of T-SQL, SSRS, SSIS, and Microsoft Excel.
- Intermediate or advanced knowledge Power BI.
- Performance tuning and query optimization knowledge.
- Intermediate or Advanced knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS).
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers, service providers, other employees, and the general public.
- Ability to adapt to new ideas and approaches.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
