Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity is seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Director/CEO to lead our high-performing affiliate. As a top-producing Habitat affiliate, we are dedicated to providing affordable housing solutions for our community. We build a significant number of homes relative to our population size and operate four Habitat ReSale stores, which contribute to our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for all aspects of the organization, including corporate support, homebuilding, retail operations, fundraising, and volunteer management.
- Manage and develop the leadership team, providing guidance, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth to ensure a strong and effective workforce.
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and maximize the impact of our programs.
- Engage with donors, corporate sponsors, and community partners to secure funding and resources for continued success.
- Oversee the management of four Habitat ReSale locations, ensuring strong financial performance and alignment with the organization's mission.
- Cultivate relationships with volunteers, staff, and community stakeholders to foster a collaborative and mission-driven culture.
- Build relationships and advocate for affordable housing policies and represent the organization in public and private sector engagements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with Habitat for Humanity or a similar nonprofit organization
- Background in the building industry, particularly in construction management or operational leadership.
- Knowledge of retail management or familiarity with resale operations.
- Strong fundraising, sales, and donor engagement skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with volunteers and community stakeholders.
- Proven track record in nonprofit leadership, strategic planning, and financial management.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
