Charlotte Hungerford Hospital is a 122-bed, general acute care community hospital located in Torrington, Connecticut, that serves as a regional health care resource for the 100,000 residents of Litchfield County and Northwest Connecticut. CHH offers personalized attention from an expert team of caregivers and physicians that utilize advanced technology and clinical partnerships in a convenient, safe and comfortable patient environment.
The CHH Emergency Services Department offers immediate emergency service care and treatment to people of all ages for any medical, surgical, or psychiatric need that may arise. Emergency services are provided by a team of board-certified physicians, physician assistants, and nurses who utilize state-of-the-art technology to ensure patients have access to quality care on a timely basis. Patient Relations representatives are also available for those with special needs. LIFE STAR helicopter service is available when medically necessary.
The Clinical Lead provides holistic, quality and cost-effective nursing care for patients/families and/or others for patient populations within a unit, service or other primary area of practice, with an awareness of the continuum of care. Applies the nursing process within the context of the organization's Framework for Professional Practice. Collaboratively manages transitions across the continuum of care, to assist patients or populations in achieving or maintaining an optimal level of health. Is recognized as a professional role model and clinical expert. Delegates and supervises work appropriately. Reports to Unit Manager.
Qualifications
RN CT License. BSN preferred.
Minimum three years nursing experience.
