Charlotte Pipe and Foundry, located in Monroe, NC, is looking for a Pipe Cutter. We are the only manufacturer that offers a complete system of cast iron, PVC, CPVC, ABS and FlowGuard Gold® pipe and fittings for residential and commercial plumbing systems and industrial applications. Investment in the latest tooling and machinery make it possible for us to meet increasing demand for our products and to provide the highest quality pipe and fittings in the industry. Summary: Pipe Cutter is responsible for cutting pipe to the appropriate length and packaging the pipe into boxes. Responsible for inventory and organizing materials. Loads finished product into warehouse specific trailer. Maintains an organized, clean work area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Cut supplied "z-pipe" into 2' sections.
- Box 2' pieces of pipe into cardboard boxes.
- Build and organize pallets from filled boxes.
- Forklift certified.
- Keep work area up to 5S housekeeping standards.
- Ability to learn to operate scale and label printer.
- Stock transfer trailers with created pallets.
- Trouble-shoot, set up and reset saws and tape tables.
- Keep supply shed up to 5S Housekeeping & Safety standards.
- Maintain constant state of alertness and ability to safely.
- Other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Submit to and successfully complete background check and pre-employment drug test

Monday – Thursday | 7am – 5pm
