Charlotte Pipe and Foundry, located in Maize, KS, is looking for a Mixing Operator with a proven track record to join our team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:
Communicate effectively with previous crew operator.
Visually checks compounder equipment for proper operation.
Climb silos and rail cars for material check.
Load hoppers with proper mix of material.
Monitor mixer controls to insure correct heat, amps, cooling, weight, etc.
Keep work area up to 5S Housekeeping & Safety Standards.
Operate a forklift and sweeper.
Oversee truck (Bulk) unloading.
Participate in raw material inventory.
Unload rail cars as needed.
Become trained in spill containment.
Help out in other departments when needed.
Calibrate weight scales and make adjustments when necessary.
Maintain constant state of alertness and ability to safely perform job duties.

Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to work 12 hour day shift
