Hours: One week on this schedule, followed by two weeks off; holiday coverage is required
Typical work week is Monday-12:00pm through Sunday 12:00am. Weekends included during your scheduled work week. Holidays included if it falls on your scheduled work week. Then you have 2 weeks off.
Duties: Responsible for CHS and Non-CHS coordination and distribution of subspecialty Teleradiology workflow. Includes external distribution and management of subspecialty work to Strategic Radiology

- Monitors PACS system and RightFax for incoming requests, monitor TATs, delays, and stat exams. Process second reads
- Effective communications with Radiologists and Teleradiology locations to assist workflow and meeting service TAT standards
- Monitor report completion and distribution via PACS, RightFax system and Telerad tool for Telerad sites
- Ability to work within multiple systems including multiple PACS. Includes copying prelims from one PACS and pasting in another
- Identify IT issues and apply understanding of the system in order to have them resolved. This includes correcting exceptions/errors with exams and merge/link patient information in PACS. Monitoring Telerad Tool to ensure reports are going out
- Work closely with Radiologists on back up process for work distribution as needs arise
- Comprehension and appropriate application of Operations Committee directives
- Continue to develop job responsibilities as the needs of the system change
- Various duties as they arise What We Need:
- Associate degree required; equivalent work experience in lieu of degree may be considered
- 1-year radiology experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, work independently, and make decisions using good critical thinking skills
- Organization and close attention to detail
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in order to maintain TAT standard
- Must exercise flexibility with work schedule, as hours may need to be adjusted to meet clinical demands, and be extremely dependable
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology, specifically technical radiology terms
- Understanding of basic PACS processes but willing to develop new capabilities
- Recognition of exam completion in order to provide radiologist with information needed to complete a comprehensive dictation
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Strong data entry and proofreading skills
- Flexible to meet the demands of multiple Teleradiology locations as well as Integrated sites
