POSITION SUMMARY: The Mammography Scheduler schedules mammography and DEXA appointments at multiple Charlotte Radiology facilities.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Schedule mammography and dexa appointments. Provides information to the patient, in regard to anniversary dates and proper recommendation for return. Coordinate scheduling at multiple facilities
- Works closely with the authorization department ensuring efficiency
- Maintain effective communication with Special Accounts
- Maintain effective record and data base information
Education/Licensing/Certification:
- Highschool Education
- Less than 1 year
- Medical office, Customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Knowledge of Windows and Outlook
- Medical office experience
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to work independently
- Must be able to multitask and shift priorities
- Excellent communication and Customer Service Skills
- Must have excellent organizational and Interpersonal skills
- Ability to withstand long periods of sitting and repetitive handwork
- Primarily sitting
- Lift 25 lbs
