Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Mooresville, NC (Near The Pointe) in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their two boys, ages 6 years old and 4 years old. The nanny would typically be needed for 4 shifts per week, Monday - Friday, ranging in hours from 11 : 30 pm - 7 : 30 pm (some days will end earlier than 7 : 30 pm), with occasional earlier hours on days with school not in session. The exact days would be determined according to the mom’s work schedule, which is variable due to the mom working at the hospital, and the schedule would be provided 2 months in advance. Each week, there would be a guaranteed pay of 35 hours minimum.
The best nanny for this family should be flexible, very reliable, and experienced in caring for preschool and school-aged children. The nanny would be expected to come in at 11 : 30 am and pick up their youngest son from preschool at 12 : 00 pm, care for the youngest son, then meet their oldest son after school. After school, the nanny would be responsible for engaging with the children, ensuring they are ready for the next day of school, assisting with the children’s dinner, and keeping them active and engaged until the parents are home. For many weeks of the summer, the children attend half-day camps, and the nanny will be responsible for transporting them home from summer camp and caring for them after camp. For a few weeks of the summer, the children will be home all day, and the nanny will be expected to care for them all day.
Each day, the nanny should be active and engaging with the boys, involve them in fun, age-appropriate activities, and keep them busy in the afternoons. When not in school, the children like to get outside and play, go to their local sports (t-ball, soccer) visit local parks, go for walks, do arts and crafts, be read to, play with toys, and engage in fun, age-appropriate activities in the community.
