We are looking for skilled, motivated, and passionate Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) and Veterinary Assistants who share our commitment to exceptional patient care and client service as we build this brand new, state-of-the-art practice.

What You’ll Do at Charlotte Veterinary Hospital
Patient Care & Medical Support
- Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and surgeries.
- Perform laboratory tests, radiographs, and other diagnostic procedures with accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor anesthesia, post-operative recovery, and hospitalized patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintain and update patient records with accurate, detailed notes.
Client Communication & Education
- Provide compassionate support to pet owners, explaining procedures, treatment plans, and home care instructions.
- Answer client questions with clarity, patience, and professionalism.
- Build trust and long-term relationships with pet owners by delivering an exceptional client experience.
Hospital Operations & Inventory Management
- Assist in maintaining clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment and surgical areas.
- Ensure proper handling and administration of medications and controlled substances.
- Follow all OSHA, DEA, and hospital safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
What We’re Looking For
✔ RVTs: Licensed/registered in the state of North Carolina or eligible for licensure.
✔ Veterinary Assistants: Minimum 1 year of experience in a veterinary hospital setting preferred.
✔ Passion for patient care, teamwork, and client communication.
✔ Strong technical skills, including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, radiology, and surgical assistance (RVT preferred).
✔ A positive, solutions-focused mindset that contributes to a collaborative and supportive team culture.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.84 - $22.33 per hour
Expected hours: 34 – 40 per week
