This role is perfect for a social media who understands brand standards, digital impressions, engagement metrics, and multi-platform marketing. You’ll be responsible for developing high-impact campaigns that elevate our nonprofit’s platform, tell our story, and engage supporters. From Instagram reels to community partnerships, you’ll be the face of CASPCA, working closely with the Development Team to amplify fundraising efforts and create a stronger, more engaged donor and supporter base.

Primary Responsibilities
Content Creation & Social Media Management
- Develop and execute engaging, multi-platform social media campaigns to promote CASPCA’s mission, programs, and events (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X).
- Grow CASPCA’s digital presence by increasing impressions, reach, and engagement while ensuring content aligns with brand standards.
- Be the on-camera personality for media appearances, live streams, event coverage, and promotional videos.
- Create mission-driven storytelling content featuring adoptable pets, team spotlights, and success stories.
- Work with partners, sponsors, and local businesses to cross-promote CASPCA initiatives.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and foster an authentic and engaged online community.
Marketing Strategy & Analytics
- Develop data-driven strategies using key digital metrics to increase engagement and fundraising.
- Track, analyze, and report on social performance, impressions, and audience growth.
- Stay ahead of trends, emerging platforms, and content best practices to keep CASPCA at the forefront of digital innovation.
Brand Representation & Community Engagement
- Collaborate with the Development Team to amplify fundraising and donor initiatives.
- Represent CASPCA at community events, media opportunities, and networking functions.
- Work with local journalists, radio stations, and influencers to expand reach.
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
- Experience in digital marketing, social media management, brand strategy, or a related field.
- Proven experience in nonprofit marketing, influencer engagement, or community-building is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or equivalent experience.
Skills & Competencies
- Expert in social media platforms and scheduling tools.
- Strong storytelling ability—both written and visual—with a knack for compelling content.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing.
- Experience in photography, videography, and live-streaming preferred.
- Ability to analyze key performance indicators and adjust content strategies accordingly.
- Passion for animal welfare and a deep understanding of how to engage pet-loving audiences.
- Comfortable on camera and confident in public-facing roles.
- Flexible, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
Additional Requirements
- Portfolio link or past social media campaign samples required with application.
- Must be comfortable handling and working around animals.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and special events as needed.
