POSITION TITLE : Math Interventionist
FLSA : Exempt Professional
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Valid Virginia Teaching License or eligible to hold a VA teaching license in Elementary Education. Math / Reading Specialists preferred.
REPORTS TO : Building administration
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT : Virtual and Face-to-Face Instruction
POSITION OVERVIEW :
To provide the strategies and support to facilitate the Integration of At-Risk Supports (IARS) which focuses on effective instructional and behavioral practices related to the specific needs of each child, based on a Response to Intervention (RtI) framework.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

Duties performed typically in school settings and virtually. Must be able to respond to the unique educational, behavioral and developmental needs of students with disabilities. Daily personal and close contact with children to provide classroom management and learning environment support is required.
