About Charm
Our mission is to return the atmosphere to 280 ppm CO?. We convert excess inedible biomass into carbon-rich bio-oil and inject it into underground storage for permanent carbon removal. At scale, we can use bio-oil to make fossil-free iron.
Our carbon removal efforts began in 2020 with initial purchases from customers like Stripe, Shopify, and Microsoft. Since then, we've scaled to thousands of tons of carbon removal , grown to over a hundred employees, and established three locations in San Francisco, Colorado, and Kansas. About the Role
- As a pyrolyzer operator based out of our "Miniforge," you'll be on a team that reports into the Operations, Technical Program Manager and you'll be responsible for helping ensure Quality tracking of our end products. This will be a Monday to Friday day shift role.
- This role is critical to helping feed information into our LCA and Ledger for carbon accounting. Working with fellow Charmers, vendors and occasional third parties you'd be directly contributing to the success of our 24 / 7 field operation that has never been done before and is a critical part in our fight against climate change!
- You'd be a great candidate for this role if you have experience or are interested in learning about quality sampling, inventory management, manufacturing, equipment management / maintenance, are an excellent communicator and a creative problem solver.
- If you're safety-minded, proactive, mechanically confident, and can prioritize multiple tasks on a daily basis, we'd love to talk with you!
