Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Nursing Department to maintain high standards of patient care.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant rules, regulations, and guidelines governing the facility.
- Supervise nursing services personnel and ensure adherence to job descriptions and nursing standards.
- Participate in facility surveys and inspections conducted by authorized government agencies.
- Conduct daily rounds to ensure all nursing staff are performing duties according to acceptable standards.
- Address complaints and grievances from department personnel, ensuring appropriate reporting to the Director of Nursing Services.
Requirements:
- Valid RN license in the state of Florida.
- Previous experience working in long-term care facilities.
