General Shop Laborer
Job Summary:
A laborer is responsible for safely and efficiently performing general labor duties for the company that require mechanical aptitude in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities may include rotation of departments depending on company needs. Applicants must have basic mechanical skills, basic tool knowledge, know how to use basic measuring tools and have assembly understanding. Applicants with welding experience, manual machine knowledge and CNC experience will be considered for higher paid positions.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Checks work for accuracy and quality.
· Conform to the job sequence of tasks.
· Full production goals daily.
· Participation of cross training in job functions.
· Accuracy of inventory for department.
· Maintain a clean and neat work area.
Preferred Qualifications:
· 1 to 2 years of manufacturing experience.
· Basic mechanical skills
· Use basic measuring tools
· Basic tool knowledge
· Assembly knowledge
· Work well within a team environment.
· Self-directed, motivated, and detail oriented.
· Able to lift/ move 50-75 lbs.
