Job Overview
As a Maintenance Technician III - PLC at Chart Industries, you will be responsible for performing daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on all plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on all plant equipment.
- Troubleshoot, problem solve, and implement countermeasures on production and facility equipment.
- Conduct mechanical maintenance, including electrical (480V, 208V, 120V, 24VDC) and controls-related troubleshooting.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Thorough understanding of maintenance troubleshooting for electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic manufacturing equipment.
- Working knowledge of 480 Volt 3-phase power, logic controllers, motor starters, and variable frequency drives.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions, as well as interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings and specifications.
Physical Work Environment and Requirements
- Mostly Outdoor/Shop Environment; Must be able to work outdoor and indoor.
- Walking, standing, using hands, bending, lifting, sitting, climbing.
