We are currently seeking a Production Assembler for our Stafford , TX Facility to join our dynamic and fast-paced environment in the Aftermarket business. Primary responsibility of this position is to perform complete repairs on customer equipment for equipment in the Service Center. Responsible for working within the overall Service Center team to accomplish the goals of the business in the areas of EHS, Quality, On-Time Delivery, Operating Costs, and Productivity improvements.
What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…
- Follow all safety and environmental directives
- Disassemble and clean components. Inspect for flaws, cracks, etc.
- Operate manual and automated cleaning equipment
- Operate assembly and testing machines
- Able to read micrometers and veniers
- Perform fitting operations of valve components requiring filing, sanding, buffing, drilling, tapping and any other normal operation required to fit the component to the valve
- Capable of testing components to requirements while checking for leaks and improper function, and logging test data
- Keep a clean and orderly work area and maintain accurate records and job history
- Works with minimum supervision resolving complex issues
